They see the signs

Can you guess what time it is?

Today I am feeling:
Stabby
Grumpy
Moody
Irritable
Emotional
Snippety
Angry
Hungry
Cranky
Weepy
Depressed
Desperate
Guilty
Blue
Clumsy
Light-headed
Nauseated
Sleepy
Ugly
Bloated
Pimply

What? Why are Gerald and the boys running away? Guys? Guys?

P.S.Β Sorry, it’s such a shorty short post today, but I’ve also been feeling LAZY.

  1. It must be hard being the only female in the house. I’ve got my husband and then one of each, so it’s a nice balance. PMS is the worst! I had a hysterectomy years ago, so I haven’t had to deal with it for quite (sorry if that’s TMI!). But I can certainly tell when my 16 year old daughter is going through it. I guess I should be glad we never overlapped. I hope you feel better after your treats.

    1. Sometimes. But does the female dog count? Haha. Things are rarely TMI for me. One time I informed this woman we had just met (CPA to do our taxes) that I had a painful bladder infection. Gerald about fell over. I didn’t know what the big deal was. I told him I’d probably tell a stranger while waiting in the line for the women’s restroom given the opportunity. I don’t care. πŸ™‚

  2. I sure hope this is just a pick list (of the mutually exclusive kind). Because if it’s a description, the boys are in big trouble!

  3. Apparently it was the same sort of day for Ant today (Obviously it’s not PMS for him, just the gay equivalent. Maybe post-end-of-the-summer-fashion-season-syndrome or something?)

Either way I can’t do anything right today. Breathing is a crime.
I’m off out for a beer.

    1. Well Gerald can be Mr. Cranky Pants sometimes so I guess there’s a straight guy equivalent too. End of summer? No, don’t say that. We’ll stick with MID summer, kay? This summer is already flying by too fast for my tastes! πŸ™‚

  4. I realized the other day that nicotine withdrawal is exactly like PMS, only with a less bloody aftermath. (eww :p) So I’m actually like that all the time now! Joy!

    1. Oh wow, I never thought about nicotine withdrawal being like that, but yeah I can see it now. My FIL starts showing the signs when he’s needing his next smoke. Hopefully things will get better over time for you! I can’t imagine feeling like that constantly.

    1. Yes you do reference cheezits a lot so they must be a favorite. πŸ™‚ I’m not able to eat either of those “foods” since my body does not like lactose or gluten. Let’s see, I can still do dark chocolate and tortilla chips and salsa. Thank goodness!
